Summary in plain terms

Deep Clean Report publishes independent testing of deep cleaning providers in Dubai. Reading the site requires no account and no personal details. We see anonymous traffic statistics, and if you follow a partner link an affiliate network records the referral. That is the whole picture; the sections below fill in the detail.

Data processed automatically

Web servers keep logs. Ours record the IP address making the request, the time, the page requested, the response code, the referring page and the user agent string. This is standard for any site and it is what allows us to spot broken pages and block abusive traffic. Logs are rotated and deleted on a short cycle.

Alongside the logs we run a privacy-conscious analytics tool that aggregates page views, approximate country and traffic source. It does not follow a reader between websites and it does not build advertising profiles.

Data you provide

The only route for you to send us anything is email. If you write, we hold your message and your address for as long as the exchange is live and for a limited period afterwards. Should you send us details of a bad experience with a cleaning company and ask us to look into it, we treat that message as confidential and do not pass your name to the provider without asking first.

Cookies in use

Essential cookies keep the page functioning. Analytics cookies count visits. Affiliate cookies attribute a referral if you click through to a provider and later book. Every one of them can be blocked in your browser without breaking the site. We do not use cookies to retarget you with advertising elsewhere.

Who else is involved

Three categories of third party touch this site. Our hosting provider stores the files and the server logs. Google Fonts serves the typefaces, which involves your browser making a request to Google. Affiliate networks record referral clicks. Each operates under its own privacy terms, which we would encourage you to read if the detail matters to you.

When you leave this site for a cleaning company's own website, everything that happens next is between you and them. We have no visibility of your booking, your address or your payment.

Commercial relationships

Some providers listed on this site pay commission on bookings that originate here. This is disclosed on the pages where it applies. It has no bearing on scores or ranking order, and the testing behind those scores is paid for out of our own pocket. We mention it in the privacy notice as well because the affiliate mechanism is itself a form of data processing.

Retention periods

Server logs: up to ninety days. Aggregated analytics: up to twenty-four months. Email: up to two years unless you ask us to delete it sooner, in which case we do it on request.

Exercising your rights

Access, correction, deletion, objection and portability requests are all handled through the contact address published on the site. We answer within thirty days and usually within a week. There is no charge. If you are dissatisfied with the answer you are entitled to complain to the relevant supervisory authority.

Minors

The content concerns household and commercial services and is intended for adults. We do not knowingly process data from anyone under sixteen years of age.

Updates to this notice

Any revision is stamped with a new date at the top of the page. Where a change affects how data is handled rather than merely how it is described, we say so explicitly in this section.
